Peterborough Chapter remembers the Ecole Polytechnique massacre

Jill Jones of the Peterborough Chapter of the Older Women’s Network lays a rose during a ceremony on Dec. 6, 2011 at the Peterborough Public Library honouring the fourteen young women killed at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal on Dec. 6, 1989. Other organizations represented at the ceremony were Amnesty International, YWCA Peterborough, Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre, C.O.I.N., Jamaica Self-Help, Peterborough AIDS Resource Network, and Kawartha World Issues.
