On July 2, the Friendship Link organized an outing to Ward’s Island. We had a warm and sunny day to enjoy the ferry ride, a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk, and a delicious lunch at the Rectory Cafe. Leader Erin Harris shepherded twelve OWN members on the excursion, which included a visit to the Sunshine Seniors Centre and Shaw House, a retirement project of the Ward’s Island Association.
